This thing is just what I needed. I work a lot on my laptop from my bed. In fact, it was a lot more stable on my bed than I thought it would be, even with the footrests upright. I use the space behind the slant to stash external drives, or you can use a collapsible phone holder if you have thin drives. The space underneath is a great place for my hand when I'm using a mouse, or as storage for my wireless portable keyboard, mouse, and Bluetooth speaker. My bed used to be littered with laptop junk, but everything is organized on this stand, which is almost invisible, folds away, and fits easily in a laptop sleeve. A+
