I used it first after styling to define my short hairstyle, but then I added just a little while it was damp and then dried and styled my hair as usual, and it really gave me the need for volume in my fine hair. Now I LOVE this product even more. No greasy feeling. A little bit goes so far. At this rate, that's enough for me for a year. So worth the price.
