The black protectors looked great when I put them on my chair legs. Unfortunately, as soon as I sat down and pushed the chair onto the hardwood floor, the protectors slipped off the legs, leaving the felt pad on the side of the leg and the thin rubber cuff under the end of the leg. This happened over and over again and I ended up taking them off. Maybe if I got the protectors two sizes too small and somehow managed to pull them over my feet like ballerina tights over an elephant, maybe they would work then.
