My workhorse printer

I print and paint miniatures professionally for several miniature 3D printing companies and my EPAX E10 4K printer is my favorite printer. It's an absolute workhorse, capable of printing miniatures at both small and incredibly large scales in great detail (see photo). The extra build volume of this mid-size printer is a godsend for my larger projects, but the 4K screen ensures no detail is sacrificed; I have no hesitation in printing even smaller, more detailed models on it. The overall build and component quality is fantastic, and the ease of use makes this a highly recommended printer for people interested in starting miniature or other model printing from home. For example, the plate came pre-adjusted and didn't need to be changed after 4 months of almost daily use. Despite its size, it's very quiet compared to other printers I've used. The fans and Z motor are audible when in the same room, but this avoids the "jet engine" effect that makes my other printers audible from multiple rooms. It's fairly modular too, with some optional upgrades for additional features if you so desire (including a larger 5K screen). This printer works great with its own EPAX resin (I like the Hard Gray resin) but I've had a lot of success with various other brands too so don't worry if you already have your favorite resin. A word of caution: Be careful not to overfill the resin bath as the large build plate will displace a large amount of resin. If you are not careful, you can add too much resin, which will cause spills when lowering the work table. Once you know the fill limit (about half a liter) it becomes second nature. TLDR: I have 4 resin printers that I use full-time and the functionality of the EPAX E10 easily makes it my favorite.
