Great Sun Protection in a Stylish Suit, Your Child will be the Envy of the Swim Scene!

We love the SwimZip Little Girl Long Sleeve Sunsuit! I bought it for a trip in February to Hawaii. Our daughter was 7 months at the time and she is in the 25%, so she's on the smaller side. It fit wonderfully and prevented sunburn. The legs are a little shorter but still have room to grow into. Because of the way it's structured, I think it would fit a lot of different body sizes. The fact that it zips horizontally from right leg all the way to the middle top is wonderful, as it gave us easy on/off capability as well as easy access to her swim diaper underneath. We used the suit and a hat with a low brim in back and in between the two, we were able to play in the pool and at the beach for hours without her getting sunburned. We didn't even need sunblock. Her feet did get slightly tan and that is the only area we really needed to worry about, but she did not get one bit of a sunburn (for her, we were not so lucky) thanks to her SwimZip Sunsuit. We also got several compliments from Moms at the resort, asking where we got our awesome and "super cute" Sunsuit. It's lightweight but not flimsy with real sun protection. The zipper works well and doesn't catch when zipping, even if the suit is completely unzipped. It seemed to maintain temperature well in cooler water, though it was important to get the suit off once we were done swimming and sitting in the shade so she didn't get cold. You will definitely need to pair this with a swim diaper if your child is still in diapers or a swimsuit underneath for older children as it is really a sun protection suit. We have no complaints and in fact we're still using the suit 2 months later. I think we'll be able to use the suit up until 12 months, but we'll probably need to buy the next size up by mid-summer. It fits as expected, so it's safer to size up as the legs are short enough to still be worn if it's a little big. The pattern is nice and as mentioned previously, we get compliments every time we go swimming.
