This pet carrier is lightweight and durable. I also like being able to put my cat in the carrier through the top. My old carrier didn't have this feature and sometimes my cat balked a bit. I use this carrier to take my kitty to the vet and I leave it open in his area for him to use when he wants away from my dog. However I can't speak for the durability, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend.
