This pet carrier is lightweight and durable. I also like being able to put my cat in the carrier through the top. My old carrier didn't have this feature and sometimes my cat balked a bit. I use this carrier to take my kitty to the vet and I leave it open in his area for him to use when he wants away from my dog. However I can't speak for the durability, I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend it to a friend.

Great luggage rack, especially for long journeys! My cats hate their regular carriers, but as soon as we put them aside and expanded, they jumped right in. They even slept in it! They love the extra space. They are not big cats. So if you have a big cat, it won't be able to stand up, but you don't need it to travel anyway. The edges are very strong, multiple inputs are perfect for different configurations. and I will probably order more if I get another cat or small dog.

**Size not as shown** I really liked this carrier but had to return it as it was too big for a southwest flight. The dimensions given in the profile were measured at the smallest point. In fact, he is more than they said. I could work for another airline, but it doesn't work for the Southwest. I liked the retractable components and the fact that it can be slipped into a suitcase. I wish they advertised this product better.

I'm so glad I found this carrier! We have a new Miniature Poodle puppy, he's only 9 weeks old. I hate leaving him alone at night but our bed is high and he could easily fall and injure himself. Love love love this carrier! It's soft but durable. The interior is as large as a standard trunk, but much easier to access, and there's a lot more room when expanded.
