I love how little storage or packing space there is. I love that, just like their backpack tote, their first thought, along with usefulness, is ventilation and comfort for your pet. It's so intuitive and easy to use. You pick up the pen and immediately "see" the bag. All you have to do is pinch the ends to make it whole. You then unzip and pull out the sides to open it fully. When your pet needs to lie down and squeeze under the seat. It wears and handles wonderfully. If you have more space or just want to give your pet space, open it up so they can stretch out. My white schnauzer weighs 10 pounds. Gray weighs 16 pounds. If they lie, that's okay. You can see how much space the white dog has. You can neither stand nor sit. To sit down you need to open the top. It has a comfortable bottom panel/mat for the bottom of the bag, but it has two protruding sides (on the long sides - the ends are for ventilation) that add comfort and extra strength to the bag. When you open the flared sides, these side panels become a comfortable, hard floor for the side fenders. They are lightweight, easy to carry with my pup and sometimes they just have to be in a bag of this size and shape. This bag is thoughtful, practical, convenient to use and store.
