This turned out to be one of the best things I've bought while sitting at home with a recently three and almost six year old during this pandemic. I was a little skeptical as my 3 year old isn't a fan of most craft activities and gets frustrated easily with small, tedious tasks. To my surprise and relief, they both made it and both loved it! It comes with several breadboards and several templates to underlay. Both of my followed the templates (a three year old with a little help) and they also both made their own templates on perforated sheets without template. I have recommended this to so many friends who are looking for things to do these days. If in doubt I would suggest trying it out! Play children's music or a children's story in the background and cross your fingers to keep them busy for an hour. Ironing note: I know a lot of people used similar products when they were kids but I've never seen them before so I'm a little confused as to how to get to the final product without instructions in the kit. If you're like me, here's what you need to do: ) A piece of parchment paper is included - save it and place it between the iron and the beads when it comes time to fuse the beads. Heat the iron to the maximum temperature during operation and during operation. Then carefully bring the perforated board to the ironing board. Place parchment paper on top, press and iron until the beads begin to melt and stick together a little. Peel the parchment paper from this side, turn the plate over so the design is unmelted side up on the ironing board. Replace the parchment paper and iron again to ensure it is firm. Try to melt about the same on both sides, otherwise the finished product will warp and warp. But the kids don't seem to mind.
