We have a 23" x 29" puzzle - fool me even more if I'm not in our box with it 1000 parts dug to find them you. However, it is important to note that the usable space on this mat is 21.5 inches, not the advertised 22.5 inches. The tabs at the bottom are sewn to leave a 1/2 inch margin on both edges and the puzzle cannot go beyond this margin. However, it is a very nice design, well made and I expect we will continue to use it. But its height is 21.5 inches, not 22.5 inches (and certainly not 23 inches).
