The board is excellent although the surface is too soft. Be careful as the pieces are still moving inside and you'll need to do some damage control, but not too much. I love it though, especially when you don't have room on the table to leave your puzzle until completion.

Great design and concept. The problem is that it has a strong plastic smell. I put it on my patio for over a week hoping it would dissipate but unfortunately the awful smell is still there. Once I had it in my house, the smell quickly spread throughout the room I kept it in. The manufacturer must pay attention to this. Unfortunately this is unusable.

We have a 23" x 29" puzzle - fool me even more if I'm not in our box with it 1000 parts dug to find them you. However, it is important to note that the usable space on this mat is 21.5 inches, not the advertised 22.5 inches. The tabs at the bottom are sewn to leave a 1/2 inch margin on both edges and the puzzle cannot go beyond this margin. I really like this puzzle basket. The pieces stay in place as you put the puzzle together and it stacks well. I bought it to keep the kitty away from him when I'm not working on my puzzle. Fun Fact: Not all 1000 piece jigsaw puzzles are suitable for this. I have a 22" x 28" - the workspace on this cart is 21 1/2" x 31 1/2". Still, it's perfect for my 300, 500, and 750 piece jigsaw puzzles. Also, I recommend taking it with you. flat when moved as parts shift. All in all, I highly recommend this!
