I followed the tutorial video and there was no indication on the dash that the fob was programmed other than the car appearing to be dead while you are programming a new fob. I had the original working key fob so I followed these instructions. After following the instructions, the new key fob works perfectly. Two important things to know: you must have a new key made by a local locksmith before it is programmed, and to exit your car's programming mode you must press the car's start button for 15 seconds. I have a 2013 SRS. I watched all three videos but the first one was the most helpful.
