Not advertised: kitchen fittings

I bought this faucet to replace the cheap one that came with the house. Instead of buying a brand made in China, I figured I'd spend a little more and get a Delta. American build quality and all that, right? If only. Here are some facts. 1) The faucet has nylon braided cord on the spray head, not steel braided cord as shown in the picture. In this case, nylon will not last as long as steel. 2) Hot and cold water are swapped at the faucet. Every other faucet in the world has hot water on the left (or top on a faucet with this handle) and cold water on the right or bottom. This one is the opposite. It's not easy to mentally make this switch 3) The grip is extremely tight and delicate. It is very difficult to choose the print between full and print. 4) The water supply lines are a rigid polygonal line that can be easily bent during installation. Delta calls it "InnoFlex PEX". Most faucets in this price range have a pair of flexible steel braided hoses for connecting hot and cold water. but not Delta. 5) The attachment method isn't very strong, giving you a faucet that rocks even when everything under the stand is fully tightened. 6) The jet selector is also recessed compared to most faucets on the market. You press "up" on the selector to get cleaning spray, not down. Down is the default stream. It will not revert to regular tap water if left on the sprayer. 8) The water pressure is excellent. Surprisingly good. I can complain about almost every other feature, but this faucet has a lot of pressure. TLDR: Terrible faucet, aside from the water pressure.
