Review on 🧊 Stanley Insulated Water Bottle - 18oz, 25oz, 36oz - Vacuum Sealed by Brandon Micali

Caps are missing, then a drop drips. Company is stubborn, does not honor lifetime warranty

(05/13/17) We apologize for changing this review due to the lack of gaskets. I have several of these bottles and use them every day whether at work or at home. Freeze an inch of water at the bottom and they'll keep liquids ice cold for a day or more. BUT there's a real design flaw, and it's a big one. The silicone seal in the drinking cap tends to fall out and disappear. You don't notice when it happens, but you do notice when the bottle is in a horizontal position (causing the liquid to pool in the lid) and then you open the lid to drink. Liquid runs out of the cap onto your knees or onto the car seat because the seal is missing. Confused at least, a disaster if it's grape juice. Once the pad is gone, they will spill out lying down, in bags, on car seats, etc. The pad must be designed to stay in place. If the company cannot solve this problem, the seals should be easy to replace. Currently, you must order a replacement from the manufacturer. . . on the phone . . . 1 dollar each! You are not in Revain. And maybe the manufacturer can tell us a safe (food and BPA free) way to glue the gasket to the lid so it stays in place? 18 ounces less for office use. The steel at the base and above the cap could have been a bit thicker. Tends to dent with every fall, even on carpets when full. The silicone seals on the lids tend to fall out. They're easy to swap out, but they don't solve the problem of unexpected overrun.
