I work from home (hopefully permanently) due to the pandemic and I love my mechanical keyboards so I bought a Razer Blackwidow Elite keyboard first for fancy lights and to have everyone in the house you can hear me pressing the button. I'm not a PC gamer but I love high quality RBG hardware. I bought this mouse pad in search of more RGB sensitivity. Plug and play is easy, and with a few tweets in Razer Synapse, the lights on the mouse pad will be solid green and pulse like my keyboard when I press a key. Next purchase is a Razer RGB mouse for even more whimsical lighting effects while working for a human. If you already have Razer products with Synapse software installed, you will need to restart your computer after connecting it to your system for it to recognize it. Synapse will then most likely install the update and you will need to restart your computer again and bingo it will appear in Synapse so you can adjust the RGB zones on your mouse pad. If you don't have Synapse, you'll need to install it using your mousepad according to the instructions, and maybe restart it a few times. Synapse is bad because it requires a reboot after the initial install and after every minor update. Oh, and of course, like everything else, for some reason Razer requires you to create an account so they can get all your personal information for seemingly no good reason.
