Turning point for this overworked mother

I have two children, a 3 year old and a baby. I also have a husband who wants to talk to me while the kids are screaming and crying, you know what the kids are doing. I tend to get really overwhelmed by all the sound. It's especially bad when I'm trying to cook or pay bills or just think deeply about something. It's one of the things that makes me feel like a bad mom. I explode too often just because of too much noise. When I saw their Facebook ad I decided to buy them even though I thought they were just overpriced earbuds. I bought it on sale and paid about 14€ for it. They come with several ear piercing adapters (that's probably the wrong term). I've used ear piercing adapters and other things like Bluetooth headphones, so that's an advantage. As for noise reduction. One problem was that I really needed to hear my kids. As long as they're in the same room as me, I can definitely do that. I can also watch TV with them with subtitles. Sometimes it's difficult to keep up a conversation because when I'm talking, all I hear is my own voice. I definitely can't eat while using them as the sound of my crunch drowns out everything else. I will definitely buy them again when the time comes as they have definitely made me a more relaxed and comfortable mom. I only use them once or twice a day when I can feel my blood boiling at the sound and it calms me down instantly. I always pin them to my clothes with a diaper pin. They come with a little pouch that I can put a needle in through the zipper.

Pros
  • ear care
Cons
  • boring packaging
