It's easy and you can do it over a fence or mount it on a pre-drilled fence. It is nicely covered to serve outside all year round. There is a YouTube video of the build if you have any questions. The silver hooks are easy, the parts above the fence were a bit stiff and watching the video gave some helpful tips like using lube to help. However, installation was easy enough and it seems reliable. I like having it in the yard so these tools can be picked up and taken away instead of running around the garage. It's convenient and at a good price.
