I have used this product on my truck exhaust pipes. The truck has a wooden platform and the exhaust pipes are located directly under this wooden platform. Some form of heat shield is needed to prevent the exhaust pipes from overheating the wood supply and catching fire, as happened to me recently. This motorcycle exhaust heat shield looked like it might work. I ordered two - one for each pipe. The shields themselves are great. You look good. They fit well. And they do their thing. But installation was a different matter entirely, as the two brackets that come with each sign are of very poor quality. When I tried to tighten them, they didn't work. They are made of very thin metal and don't really press: they just curl up. I went to my local hardware store, spent $15 on good quality clips and they fixed the problem. As you can see from the photos, the screens are in place and they fit perfectly thanks to the interchangeable clips.
