Just to be clear, I work in a shoe factory sorting leather that comes straight from the tannery. What I can say is that I love the design of the wallet and it suits me. What I can't say is that you get quality leather. For beginners only: When it comes to the grain of leather, there is a lot to be said about its durability and appearance. Wrinkled splash of dark red and brown ect. what happens naturally on the skin. The strongest facial skin comes from the "back" while the weakest/loosest comes from the "legs, stomach, buttocks and neck". Holes, scratches, soft skin and insect bites. The attached photos show the wallet I bought in Canyon Red. The leather is mostly full grain (probably cut midway between the back and stomach, it's full of bug bites (small black dots all over, visible near the purse fold) and partially open to inspection. At least shoe making Bites bugs, open patches, etc .Commonly used in parts that are turned inside out or not visible as they detract from the shoe. For a $30 purse I would like better quality control. Not quality leather.
