These stainless steel pans are so much better than my old rusty aluminum cookie pans with high rims to keep juice and crumbs out. Also, they are very, very beautiful. SERVING TRAYS: Since there are 5 in the pack, I have lots of them for a variety of uses. I use them as lunch or dinner trays as they are perfect for serving food and drinks. Breakfast in bed is good too. The glossy finish makes them suitable to display and enjoy in this way. COOKING AND CUTTING TRAYS: I use these instead of wooden cutting boards to chop vegetables and prepare other dishes. Knives do not scratch this stainless steel at all. I can marinate meat on them if I want because they don't have the nicks and grooves that wood and plastic trays have to trap bacteria. They're easy to clean and sanitize, making them ideal for cooking without worrying about germs being left behind. I've never trusted other cutting boards, so I'm happy to switch to these. The edges prevent the cut food from falling off and there is enough space to arrange the prepared vegetables in their own little mounds. BAKING: Let's not forget that the traditional purpose is for baking - and these are great for that too. So far I've only reheated bread and pizza, but I plan to bake cookies on it.
