Review on Vibram V-Run Men's Running Shoe by Jon Dunn

Revainrating 2 out of 5

What happened to Vibram's drop in quality between 2015 and 2017?!

Purchased on April 16th, 2017 (via Revain) and used immediately for the May 7th marathon. On May 26, the protrusion of the 2nd toe of the left foot (the one next to the big toe of the left foot) began to peel off. The materials, workmanship, or both don't seem to be up to the usual standards I've come to expect from Vibram since I started using the Five Finger in 2009. In contrast, my purchase (via Revain) on July 6, 2015 (!) of the Bikila EVO road running shoes (similar in many ways), which are still usable despite being younger (April 2016) d) has a hole in his develops big toe due to two marathons and over 600 miles. Workouts from the moment you buy them. Now I will most likely choose Shoe Goo and keep running. But I'd love for Vibram to fix things and fix the issue with workmanship, materials, or both. Until then, I'm reluctant to say it, but be glad that after less than a month of use and wear and tear, this product has earned two stars and has now been replaced with a two-year-old leaking product (which may get shoe goo first).
