first i ordered a 1 1/2" large collar for my bull terrier and wow i wasn't expecting it to be that big, i should have ordered a large 1" instead. I really like buckle down products, have worn their belts for years and have never had to change them except to get a different imprint of my personal preference. When I unbuckled this collar, I wasn't expecting the width and buckle to be the same size as my actual belt (I should have paid more attention to the actual measurements). In short it was too big for my bull terrier but in the smallest size it suits my 100 pounds. Pitbull so I ended up just keeping it for a different dog than intended. Even on the highest settings it would suit me lol. Overall I would recommend but please read the sizes and measure your pets before ordering.
