cable died for my helios 300 laptop This is a perfect replacement. The only problem is that some models have a slightly different charging port, but the manufacturer is trying to fix that with an adapter. I received my package with a note stating that this port duality and adapter will solve my problems. but the box wasn't even sealed with tape and the adapter wasn't included. If you have Helios 300 then there is no problem. If you have a different model, you might want to look at another provider.
