I bought this jacket to replace a Helly Hansen Vancouver jacket that lost its waterproofing a long time ago. This Dubliner is definitely a step forward in quality and style. The last few months that I live have been quite rainy and this jacket was 100% waterproof and has kept me dry. I'm glad Helly Hansen decided to add an inner chest pocket as I like to stash my phone there. I also like that the pockets are lined with soft fleece. The hood can be stowed away in the collar when not in use, which is also a plus compared to cheaper HH jackets. However, as many other people have mentioned, it runs small. It's form fitting rather than loose and feels quite tight. I ordered a size larger than I normally wear so I can wear underwear which turned out to be a good decision. Keep that in mind when ordering this jacket.
