This was the perfect waterproof (as opposed to waterproof) jacket for traveling around Ireland during the summer months. It looked good and kept water out which is important because it rains intermittently in Ireland and sometimes the rain is very horizontal which we haven't seen here on the west coast. I bought this jacket to replace a Helly Hansen Vancouver jacket that lost its waterproofing a long time ago. This Dubliner is definitely a step forward in quality and style. Finally a raincoat and windproof jacket for thin people! I usually wear small so I went for the small and voila, perfection. I had Mountain Hardwear Plasmic (small) and it consumed me. I'm 5'10 - 155lbs. fits me perfectly and is enough to pull a thin fleece underneath. The length of the arm is slightly above the wrist. The waist is a little tight, but that's just a small problem.
