This product does its job well enough: neutralizes ammonia/nitrates/nitrites. I would give it a higher score based on that alone, but read the title. I'm speaking from someone with direct experience if you have a long term problem with these chemicals in your aquarium; It is much better to find and fix the cause of the readings. Otherwise fill your aquarium with this substance on a daily basis. The two most likely causes are probably excess inventory or an unused filtration system. If you overstock the supply until you've eliminated a few fish, you'll end up doing what was previously mentioned. If your filter (or filters in my case) hasn't been cycled or has experienced bacterial failure (like in my case), adding this product can and will actually interfere with the filter's cycling process. The good bacteria in the aquarium need these chemicals to feed themselves until they settle and balance your aquarium levels, and neutralizing the chemicals will actually remove the "food" they need.
