1. color change must be undone. The mug image should be visible when COLD and blacken when hot. Otherwise it is impossible to determine the cup. I have bought almost half a dozen different mugs for different people and family members as gifts; but since all cups are black when COLD, you cannot tell which cup is yours until it is used. 2. This mug is NOT microwave and dishwasher safe. But there is hope, because now I've found color-changing mugs that combine both! 3. The image of the cat on this mug is significantly smaller than on the website. 4. I feel so sorry now for those I bought these mugs for. and embarrassed. not only for the COLD black condition, but also for the special care. Guilty. I should have read the description more carefully instead of relying on my previous experience of buying from other manufacturers, none of which was a problem.
