The Magic Is Gone - for women

When I first heard about the design update, I also had to *order* two PockeTweez. I've had the previous model for a few years now and I think these tweezers are wonderful. Unfortunately, PockeTweez Too doesn't live up to the high standards of the originals. Both of the tweezers I received don't quite match. The side next to the "PockeTweez" logo is slightly longer than the other end of the tweezers. Both examples only seem to connect at the very tip of the tweezers, which requires a lot of pressure when trying to grasp the back of the hair at 90% of the tweezers' head. Something thicker, like a piece of wood, might not be a problem. As with the originals, there are many areas in the casting process that look less finished. They are much easier to open than the originals. Unfortunately, in one of my examples, the tips of the tweezers easily twist past the bottom of the case to catch on something. If I'm not careful, it's entirely possible to point a finger. The grip seems strong. There's not really any flex when you're trying to compress the sides of the body. (After opening the tweezers) So, bottom line: I like the new handle material and how easy it is to open and close. I don't think the tweezers are as accurate as the original and the build quality isn't as good. Luckily I was able to locate two other originals so I don't have to use Pocketweez Too.
