The Sprenger tine is my favorite tool in my toolbox. I always have a few extras on hand just in case. I went from 3.0mm to 2.5mm and the corrections are much sharper. I would recommend hiring a qualified balance trainer to introduce your dog to the barb. There is no quick fix for workouts, but they are important. I've compared our sprinkler to PetSmart's signature collar and the difference is clear. Because of the angle of the tines, the finish and the quality, I would never consider any other brand. In our case we have a 20" neck and a 19" neck. It was easier to just buy two small collars than trying to buy extra links.
