Wow, that's a weird dress. First, the fabric is primarily neoprene. It is elastic, thick and slightly porous. Cutout bodice and it's pretty flattering from the waist up. What I don't like is where the skirt begins. To be honest, I have a rather short waist. This skirt has spectacular pleats that create a fluffy skirt. just below the navel. This dress makes me look kind of long in the waist and weirdly accentuates my stomach. I usually like tight and flared dresses to show off my natural waist and looser dresses around my stomach and hips. Starting at my natural waist I think I would really like it but as it is it looks ridiculous on me Another issue I have found is that the seams that add fullness to the fitted bodice skirt are are lumpy on the outside at my waist.
