It emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells.My daughter typically wears an American size 12-14. We ordered this in the 13-14 offering and found the fit to be true to size. I would suggest if between sizes go ahead and get the next one up.The material is soft to the touch. It feels so cozy when worn I'm told. The length fits my child as a tunic top would. The sleeves aren't overly long and can easily be cuffed back if needed. The collar is high but it doesn't sit oddly or rise too far up.The fit is casual-fitted. It doesn't look baggy clinging to the body at the upper part and having a bit more give around the torso area.This is a pullover so you'll want to make sure to wear a camisole or other tank top beneath it. You can't really see through it at all unless it is stretched out.The warmth is perfect for Fall, Winter, and Cooler Spring temperatures. Summertime wear would be pushing it since it lends to warmth.IT is easy to keep clean by gentle machine or hand wash. IT should be hung to dry.I like the good constructions as there are no poor seams, loose strings, or signs of wearing out in any one place.Recommended.
