Review on 🎧 AfterShokz Air AS650MB Open Ear Wireless Bone Conduction Headphones - Midnight Blue by Randy Bin

Work as intended.

These are great headphones for listening to your favorite media while maintaining situational awareness. I bought them for three purposes. I like listening to NPR on long walks and hikes. I used to have to pick up the receiver with wireless in-ear headphones when people wanted to speak, and I was constantly scared when people walked past me from behind. With these Trekz headphones, I can now hear people approaching and speak to others without taking them off. It's like talking to someone standing next to the running TV. The sound quality is not hi-fidelity, at first the sounds are muffled, but after fifteen minutes you get used to it. I also find them great for listening to YouTube without disturbing others and plan to use them on long business trips to hear directions and my favorite streaming media. As with other reviews I've read, the noise seems to be coming from your head. This is an unusual feeling, but not uncomfortable. I've found that turning up the volume doesn't help if I'm unhappy with the sound quality of the music. It only adds noise due to vibration. Overall they serve my purpose very well. When I need isolation while listening to crystal clear audio, I reach for the Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Canceling Headphones. But when I want to know what's going on around me, I really like Trekz. They are definitely earmarked.
