I wish I could give them more stars! I can't wear normal headphones. When I use soft earplugs, I have an allergic reaction to the material they are made of. Hard earbuds (like Apple's) are uncomfortable, put pressure on the cartilage in the ear, and start to hurt after a few minutes. I just can't hear anything. The new model is lighter and more comfortable to wear than the Trek Titanium. The sound quality is also slightly better. The battery life has not changed. I get about 8-10 hours of use before they run out of juice. If you're new to bone conduction headphones, I'd recommend ignoring most of the negative sound quality reviews. update: So after only 9 months my aftershocks are in this condition after daily use and regular charging. Believe it or not, this device still works, but it cannot be recharged.
