I heard about it on the facebook group about tea. I have loose tea bags that I don't use because I need a teapot and a glass teapot that doesn't stay on the stove due to space constraints. So heard about it. I thought we'd give it a try. I used it once. It worked very well. Most of the time, my loose tea is packaged in my cupboard and I just haven't had time to dig it up to sample more. But I washed it right away after using it once. Cleaned up immediately with no problems.
