Cats eat by texture, if your kitty won’t eat this it’s probably due to them not liking the texture. Our ckd 15 yr old cat originally wouldn’t eat this. She likes the texture of pate not shreds and we couldn’t figure out why she wouldn’t eat it. When cats got older they also lose their sense of smell. We microwave this for around 8 or so seconds and it turns it liquidy. Our cat Kensie now gobbles it up. She loves all the flavors except the tuna one which we are not sure why. We also have a 3 1/2 yr old and 9 month old so will try the tuna with them.This is also a great food for cats with ibd and ckd issues. If you go on the weruva website they give a breakdown of the phosphorus content on a dr6 matter basis so it’s easy to get the lower phosphorus flavors. This food has kept our kitties ckd numbers down for the last year she’s been eating it. Thanks weruva for finally making a pate food!
