I got this from fitting a stainless exhaust to my C10. You can use ordinary carbon wire, but stainless steel is better. No complaints. I used my regular Ar/CO2 gas and it works great too. Maybe more spatter and a darker weld, but that's not an issue if you're sanding or painting it.
