We used this for the Zoombot portable station during the pandemic. It has a good zoom range, is easy to adjust and is very compact.But the manual focus doesn't seem to cover the full zoom range,at the furthest zoom it doesn't focus well on subjects 15-20ft away.I've been practicing but couldn't zoom and focus smoothly at the same time.So it's probably at the best when it can be assembled and left to take pictures.I didn't do an image quality comparison, it was definitely better than the laptop's built-in camera Build quality is good.Not flashy but doesn't feel cheap either.The zoom and focus knobs work easily unscrew and fall out.They also tighten to lock the adjustment.The lä sst me thinking that use is discontinued and forgotten, which was intended anyway.
