Slim Fit Fits a tall, slim man with large shoulder blades, 40 " chest and 34 " waist

This is a comparison between this fitted shirt and other slim fit shirts I've bought recently (same brand) . Slim fit shirts fit me very well - better than any shirt in the past. However, they only fit a little against my back when I reach forward. I bought a fitted cut to see if it would give me more room in the back and still look good. The waisted cut is a little more comfortable at the back. However, this does not seem to be due to the large amount of fabric on the back. The arms are bigger (but not TOO big) which creates less resistance when the arms move forward. That puts less strain on your back. The chest is a little bigger (but not TOO big). However, there is still about 4 inches (circumference) around the waist. This extra fabric just makes the shirt normal and not stylish to me, a tall, slim figure (6ft 2in, 185-190lbs, rectangular rather than wedge shaped). old western style Ariat shirts but still something that would need constant re-threading to look just right, which is typical for most shirts. I think if I took the shirt to have it shaded it would help but there is so little difference as it is it will be almost identical to a fitted cut once tucked in. Why waste extra time and money going back to where I started? So I'm going to take it back and change it to a slim fit. Apart from the fit, this is a good shirt. I suspect that someone with a bigger physique/big belly who is a little less picky and less fashion conscious would be very happy with this.
