The positives first: I really like the design of this thing! Before I got it, I had two separate chargers on my bedside table - one for the Apple Watch and one for the iPhone. The one I had for the phone was flat. When I placed my phone on it, I had to be very careful to align it perfectly so that it actually charged. If it shifted to one side or the other, I'd wake up to a half-dead iPhone. Since this is also a kickstand, it's really impossible to screw up. As a bonus, you can put it on your charger in both landscape and portrait modes. My Apple Watch is up and charging 100 out of 100 times. With my previous (real) Apple Watch charger, the watch sometimes slid sideways and would not charge. Because it's on top, gravity keeps it off the charger and it never stops charging. Cons: The green LED charge lights are reminiscent of runway lights at night. I have never had a device with such bright LEDs. At first I turned it away from the bed, but even then the room was so brightly lit that I had a hard time sleeping. I solved this problem by carefully removing the rubber pad on the bottom along with the four hidden screws underneath to release the case. I then disassembled the case by slipping an old credit card through the seam and unclipping the case to open it fully. I then put a small piece of black tape over the plastic holes in front of the LEDs and reassembled everything. The process only took about 10 minutes. The good news is that it's not too bright anymore. The downside is that the loading indicators are no longer visible at all. This device would be much better if they just used a more opaque plastic cover in front of those super bright LEDs.
