I've had mosquito problems in my apartment for 2-3 months now. They're mostly centered around the kitchen, but since my apartment is an open concept, I've found a few in different locations. Before buying this racquet I tried 5 solutions: 1. Spray them with sanitizer spray to stun/slow/kill them. She. This decision was very successful. 2. Pour drain cleaner into my sink in case they breed there. 3. Vinegar/sugar/washing-up liquid solution in a bowl. It killed a few, but left most dangling from the edge of the bowl. 4. Call the exterminator who did absolutely nothing. Buy an insect exterminator plug-in. In two weeks he did not kill a single mosquito. They just didn't care about the light. Finally I decided to try this racket. Let me tell you, after 24 hours I am 90% mosquito free! There are still a few laggards I'm working on. I'm mad at myself for not thinking about buying this racquet sooner. The technique that I think works best is to wait for the bat to land on a flat surface (wall, closet, counter, door). Cover them with a bat. If they try to run away, they'll fly straight into the bat. Swinging at them in the air isn't very effective. I only managed to kill 15-20 people this way. Hopefully I'll be 100% mosquito free by the end of the week. I still can't figure out the cause of the mosquito problem, but I hope that if I kill them all, they still won't be able to reproduce.
