I ordered this seat for my wife's TREK X caliber. Although she enjoys mountain biking 5 to 10 miles, she also enjoys longer rides. "20 to 45 miles, for example." But even with her Bontrager Sport I saddle with honeycomb gel cushioning and soft shorts, the discomfort in the saddle took its toll after a few hours. When I mounted and tried this seat on her bike, I realized I LOVE it! I liked it so much I ordered it for my FRAMED Minnesota 2.0 FAT BIKE. This is a really great seat! NOT TOO SOFT AND NOT TOO HARD Just the right amount of foam and gel in the right places. The central air vent is strikingly functional. Good size seat. But not as hard as you think. If you have a straight tube seatpost and need to use the mounting clip that came with the saddle. They add 2 and 1/4 pounds. If your bike uses a 2-bolt adjustable wobble seatpost and you're just adding the saddle itself. They even add 2 pounds. I hope you enjoy this place as much as my wife and I do.
