Good or bad for accessories
The top of the antenna was bent and the initial SWR readings on both channels 1 and 40 were set to over 3.0 and over 2.5. I bought another branded magnetic mount and had no SWR issues with the same setup (Uniden 510xl) so it was definitely an issue with that antenna. -1.5 SWR so I think this particular antenna might not get a good ground plane on my 2014 Ford Explorer. However, the docking points for the antenna are bent and unusable on a single vehicle.
