I was interested in a Bluetooth speaker that not only sounds pretty good, but also uses a memory card so I didn't have to use my iPad's storage to store music. This speaker can also be used for smartphone calls and has an FM radio that picks up stations quite well. I'm 60 miles east of New York, so I won't get FM stations from there, but I have stations within about 20 miles pretty clearly. The sound quality is pretty good. It won't fill your yard with music, but for a patio or poolside, it has a long reach. In general I am very satisfied. The only thing that bothers me is removing the micro smart digital card. When I pressed it to eject the card, I took my finger off it after pressing it and the card flew 10 feet across the room! I've learned to press and lift my finger just a little bit to release the pressure, but not take my finger too far away from the card. By the way, it is waterproof (not waterproof).
