I've been looking for original Sony PS3 controllers since the start of Co-vid. Recharge battery. Rather renovated. lame. Then I tried G-Stop online shopping. no (Used-new.). Really not ready to go to an aftermarket brand. As for the battery life, I'm not sure yet. I also get 2 controllers. For less than $40. I play every day so far, these features have exceeded my expectations. Finally there is a worthy alternative. Now you know. 👣. Now 2 months later both controllers are not working. Battery life issues. Doorstop.😕.Now I'm waiting for PS5.later this year.
