I usually wear L but in this case I'm hesitating between L and XL, ordered XL in light blue. I don't like them just sitting and most of the time I have problems with my hips. The armholes are a bit large and can be seen when worn with a sleeveless or short sleeve top. Sits comfortably on the chest. Honestly bought light blue because it was less money but didn't want navy blue preferring a lighter shade. It's better a bit bigger than small and looks cute over my tops in the summer and even over a sweater in the fall. Well sewn and denim has a typical denim weight; not thin more medium and soft. I have searched through many vests and am glad I came across the Allegra K which offers the best style and value. Fitting is always tricky as everyone's body type is different so I suggest you use the sizing guide that fits your expectations but if like me you prefer a looser fit go one size up. .
