I am using this camera setup as a rear/backup image and monitoring the contents of a trailer moving down the road. The cameras are powered by navigation lights via the side connectors (sold separately). The wires are very small, so side branches are required for small cameras. I live in PNW and getting water on things is a big problem so on the outer rear chamber I cut the connector off and threaded it through a grommet which was then sealed well with silicone. The inside camera seems to be getting a good signal (my trailer has a plastic nose/corner so I think the signal is going right through it). The night vision on the inside camera is acceptable for seeing something in motion, but it's not very bright. I think it will work with the included internal LED strips when I really need to see the details of what can move right on my old '91 Ford F250 dash. Remove mirrors and guides. Image quality is pretty good and good enough to see most of the detail and don't run out of the way of people changing lanes.
