Purchased just out of curiosity. These things are very bright because they are so small. They also use very little electricity. I've tried them with small USB power adapters, portable power banks, and even rechargeable AA batteries. Has worked every time. The only downside was that the plastic cases got very hot after about an hour of continuous use, so I wouldn't recommend leaving them unattended. Good to use as an emergency light if you have a portable USB power supply.
