I bought this because I've been working from home for a long time during COVID. Basically, I wanted to get my laptop off the table and put it at the same height as the monitor. It was a lifesaver! It's solid and durable. It was a little difficult to move into the correct position, but I eliminated that due to its firmness and immobility when holding the laptop.
