I can't photograph these shelves yet because they don't hang well on my walls. I bought them for a place in the kitchen and my husband had the most difficult time installing them and he is a carpenter and knows how to hang and install wooden shelves. He says the mounting system is not up to date and I have to agree with him. The shelves themselves are great! They are perfectly finished and I love the metal edges as they add a nice touch. These are real wood shelves too which is amazing and another thing I love. The problem is that these wooden shelves are heavy... so the little bracket used to mount them to the wall.... Not enough support. The shelf sags a little, which is good news. My husband went to Home Depot and bought some lumber to give it a stronger hold on the shelf so it will stand up straight and can support the weight of some decorative items I plan to put on the shelves. We basically rig it.... What not to do. The wall we are installing the shelves on happens to be on the other side of my pantry wall... So my husband will be attaching the shelves using lumber he bought on the other side of the wall to hold them securely. Another question…. The mounting bracket that comes with these shelves…. Not tied to yourself. Shelves literally just slide over a metal bracket, but they don't "lock" so to speak... which is also questionable for me, especially since the meeting shelves tilt down when installed. The quality of the shelves deserves 5 stars…. But the mount is such a disaster that giving it 3 stars overall is generous. I'm changing it to 2 stars because I spent about $60 for 2 shelves that I can't put anything on until my husband does the installation.
