The motherboard serves its purpose. READ PLEASE! If you want to pair this with a Ryzen Gen 3, you'll need to update the BIOS to F32, then F40, in that order. I got the B450 along with the Ryzen 5 3600 because everyone on the internet says they work together (which they do). I had everything plugged in, turned it on, then wouldn't boot and the DRAM light in the corner came on and all the fans were spinning as they should. I later find out that you need to update your BIOS to F40 and the only way to do that is to have a Ryzen Gen 1 or 2 handy. I went on ebay and bought a used Ryzen Gen 1 for about $45. I was able to boot and update the BIOS to F32, then to F40, then switch back to the Ryzen 5 3600 and now everything is working as it should. In short, you need to update your BIOS to F40 to use the Ryzen Gen 3 processor.
